I was surprised to learn that Everyone Loves Raymond only ran for 9 years.  I thought it was about 15 as I don’t remember a time it wasn’t on.  I suppose with all the re-runs, I’ve managed to enjoy this relatable comedy and honest insights into family life, for a long time.  Whilst it was often funny and lighthearted, there were also some darker story lines, which showed the true acting ability of the cast.
