Many people believe video games are for children and they cannot understand the desire to stay up all night, playing games until our eyes are bloodshot (or so our girlfriends say…)

However as generations have grown up with video games as a normal part of life, the age of the average gamer has also increased (ha). During a 2020 survey, 38 percent of video game players still come from the 18 to 34 age, and six percent are 65 years and older.

Now, 40 years ago you would have laughed until your stomach hurt to hear that a 65 year old was bashing out Modern warfare in their golden retirement years but as generations continue so does our love for video games.
