Ah the glorious game of football – are you a fan? Or perhaps it’s called soccer where you’re from? Either way, fan or not, these days you just can’t escape it. The world seems to be getting football crazier every single day!

It’s also a huge culture thing where I’m from, with most kids being given a team to support before they even open their eyes for the first time! And no, for once I am NOT being overly dramatic… it’s 100% true!

Because of this, many many men, women and children dream that one day they’ll join the big leagues and be scoring goals up there with the best but only a select few ever get to make that dream a reality.
