Her husband who she had been with the majority of the year always suffered with consequences of the war and he passed away almost ten years earlier.

Margo has a turbulent time inside Wentworth, she first appears when she’s called upon to give a drastic haircut to Sharon Gilmour’s hair. She starts as a character in the background of the show but reappears with a big part when she becomes involved in the protests.

Jane Clifton’s biggest role remains Prisoner On Cell Block H to this day. Yet, she has continued to be successful. She had never reached huge fame, but her career has been steadily successful. Her last role was in 2017 where she starred in the show Lost Gully Road.

Doreen had a very troubled life before Wentworth, she was abused by her father and it resulted in her committing crimes to be able to cope. Doreen forged checks and credit cards and was sentenced to four years in prison. When she is released, she ends up briefly finding love and becoming pregnant.

Colette Man (after starring on Prisoner On Cell Block H) starred in Neighbours, The Dish and most recently in 2021 the TV show Fisk. She’s not only acted but also been a singer and a TV presenter as well as took part in theatre production.

Franky Doyle was an inmate at Wentworth Detention Centre who was there due to robbery and murder. She was hard and uncaring for anyone else in the prison, looking out for herself only. She ended up being killed in a robbery attempt where she was shot by police for trying to run.

Carol Burns sadly passed away in 2015 after suffering with cancer. She remains most well known for her role in Prisoner. She was married to Alan Lawrence, a British musician and composer. She had been a keen actress and devoted ten years particularly to theatre which she loved.
